Great point about McBurnie. The prospect of giving him a hard time would add quite a few to the gate. I often chuckle recalling John Hartson's appearance for West Brom at Ninian Park. Boy, did he receive some earache! Cast as the dastardliest pantomime villain he was booed, hissed and worse throughout.

I find night games strange atmospheres. It's like everyone is just knackered after a hard day's graft and there's less singing.

I reckon everyone should ask the boss for an early finish to allow for a couple of swifties more than the usual.

I'm old enough to remember Stan Bowles getting that chant. He turned near the penalty spot close to the Grange End to shrug his shoulders as if to say "I don't know where she is" and the crowd instantly warmed to him.
