Re: Be careful what you wish for .......

Under Slade's and Young's management we are on the slippery slope downwards even if we stay red or change back to blue.

For years we have debated how tan could reverse it without losing face- the answer seems quite simple now- reverse the rebrand but announce he won't spend a single more penny on the club.

In reality though that will happen if we stay in red so it shouldnt be believed. It will just be a nice easy reply for the club if we start sliding down the leagues.

    Its not that simple though.
In the short term without someone putting in extra money to pay the contract terms that we are obliged to pay we cannot afford to pay those bill. On that basis it is surely administration, and to leave administration we have to agree a CVA with our creditors, who at this moment is Tan.

It's probably not going to be easy but even though Tan has had deeper pockets than anyone before him I don't think he's delivered anything we can be proud of. Tonight could be the change of that.

We as a fan base have allowed it to get to this point, and still too many simply want a club that is mortgaged up to the hilt for success.

Firstly we will be ok for this season as the parachute payments are helping with the budgeting. Next season will be the problem, we are committed to contracts, and with some players we are still paying out contracts for players that are no longer here.
Bet Christmas was fun in your house!

What happens next season when the money coming in no longer covers what we are paying out, and there is no extra funds coming in to cover the shortfall.
How dare i point out the realities of the situation.

Yes but they decrease on a yearly basis.
However i doubt personally that this meeting is going to have the huge reveal that the reversal will take place. Even if it does im aware that it could potentially lead to very bad news in the future.

Its been said that without promotion next year will be difficult, we are even predicting a small loss this year.
At least in blue we can support the team as they slide into oblivion.
