Yeah prob Quadrophenia for me too.
SBKs performance in Sexy Beast is class
Been on Time Out and Empires Top 100 British Films and Quadrophenia isn't in either. WTF?!?
If and O Lucky Man! directed by Lindsey Anderson are both pretty cool.
Dead Mans Shoes by Shane Meadows is pretty dark
when i heear the word "Britain" it is an instant put-off.

Get Carter.
Shaun of the Dead
Hot Fuzz
The Worlds End
Anything with Alastair Sim in esp. Laughter In Paradise
Pleased to see Passport to Pimlico mentioned. The Ealing comedies were brilliant, but this is probably my favourite.
The Long Good Friday and Get Carter were classics. Kes is great too.
So many great films that I can't instantly recall. All understated in a British way , and no AK47s
Thai House
Hound of the Baskerville's or any hammer, get carter ,long good friday, scum, kes etc. Although I like some yank stuff I find it hard to relate too!
Pride
Local Hero
Lock Stock...
