    Bale 3rd top goalscorer for Real Madrid


    Only 2 goals behind STRIKER Benzema.

    Didn't hear much grief for the Frenchman though

    Great season over there again for Bale. Those whinging Real Madrid 'fans' can go fack emselves.

    But they didn't pay 85 million for Benzema. That's why Bale gets the stick - but I agree they are terrible fans.

    If Bale, Benzema and Ronaldo were all in a line and each with a chance to shoot then the first two would be expected to leave it for the third.

    Anyone notice that the two trophies they have won in the past two years were when Ronaldo was absent? Still, Ronaldo has been breaking records in that time so it doesn't matter.

    I was delighted Bale was left on the bench last night. No chance of any I jury that way. He is a fantastic player and will be a huge influence in the Belgium game and he will be playing for fans who really appreciate him.

    Messi is massive for Barcelona but it is not the Messi show when they play. They play as a team and look for space, not for the 'ego'. This is why they have won far more in the past 5-10 years and why Messi is by far the better player imho!

    He hasn't had a bad season at all but at times for Madrid he looks low on confidence, which isn't surprising given the stick he has received.

    I think he is wasted stuck out on the wing, I'm sure he isn't played as an out and out winger but his best form that got him his move to Madrid and for Wales has been centrally or at least given a free role to roam and pick the ball up. The last match I saw he barely had a touch in 45 minutes.
