Why on earth is Noone starting ahead of Lawrence?

Noone's one move of running down the right before cutting in onto his left is now widely known in the division which probably explains why he hasn't done much for 18 months. On the other hand Lawrence's direct running can cause havoc at this level? Why Slade? What on earth does Noone bring to the party? And while your at it get rid of Gunners and Malone.

Noone gets the odd goal. Lawrence doesn't even do that

Lawrence doesn't score but he creates havoc and thereby space for others and he keeps possession better. Noone doesn't create much, hardly scores (given the amount of game time he gets) and loses position too cheaply. But he seems un-dropable with Slade.

He'd answer by asking himself a different question then answering in the 3rd person. He's good at that.
