Strange that he didn't tell us this slightly before 8 days to go until the referendum...and that he didn't tell Andrew Neil of this plan when questioned last week.

The UK is not strong enough despite being the 5th largest economy to negotiate without serious compromise (not one leaver has considered what they may be willing to sacrifice) but are the strongest soft-power in the world: leaving the EU will knock our influence around the world.

Funnily enough, this was precisely one of the scare tactics used against Norway
You can be sure quite a few countries would follow in our footsteps if we leave, and the EU would revert to being a common market without all of the social implications.
I think this is why so many EU figures are chipping in with their five pence worth.
They know that if we leave then other countries will be under pressure from their people to have a referendum.
Probably the start of the wheels coming off their gravy train.
Holland has already confirned that they will hold a refurendum if we vote to leave.
