In fairness, he's well placed to talk about politicians promising one thing and then failing to deliver.
History will be kind to Nick Clegg, he may have got a lot of flack (very deservedly) about the tuitions fees but it was a sacrifice he made to keep other worse Tory policies from going through.
You only have to look how a majority Tory government have been over the last few months to see why it was worth it.
