I was there. A bumper crowd, with the opening of the new family section in the lower Grandstand. Williams gets sent off, with the score 0-0 and we went to pieces. A nightmare!
I was in the grandstand that day. I can still remember all the dads with their kids leaving en masse from the enclosures after the 4th or 5th goal (which one came from a terrible back header from Nathan?) They just stepped over the wall and walked down the side of the pitch.
I was in the Canton with my boy, stayed to the end
The best part of some of 'um on here, was running down their mother's leg.

7500 crowd, New seats in the enclosures, new signing from Bournemouth, all set up for the sleeping giant to awake. Typical City really. Cracking save from the new signing mind, shame it got him sent off.

I was on the Grange End near the Bob Bank corner. I remember there was a really good atmosphere beforehand and the Club gave inflatable bluebirds to the kids in the family enclosure.
I can recall us playing poorly and once Williams had been sent off for hand ball and a penalty was given, we simply went to pieces.
I was on the grange end 50 years ago on the last day of the year to see us thrash the wurzels 5-1
I was in the newly opened family enclosure beneath the Maidstone fans, at 4 nil up, they sang " Not 1,not 2, not 3 but 4, Maidstone are winning and they`re going to score more" they were ecstatic I was devastated never forgot that chant or that freddy Krugar guy getting sent off either.
