Not too bad over all.
A Wigan win would have been a delight though ;)
Reading are a dreadful side who play football like its an over 80s walking game by passing it about at the back a lot. If there's one team that have a chance of messing it up its them.
Beware Fulham. Good side. If you can beat them on Saturday it will be a very good result.
For the neutral observer this is great but what does it say when constantly the top Premiership sides struggle in Europe, particularly against mediocre opposition.?
Monaco are just an average team in a poor league (by Premiership standards) and yet Man City have to pull out all the stops to win the home leg.
Guardiola was making statements before the game that he was fearing their "fantastic strikers", yet Falcao was a complete failure during his time in the Premiership, both at Man Utd and Chelsea. He virtually left the UK with his tail between his legs.
Do we over rate the Premiership top 4 ?
Arsenal losing to Bayern Munich is almost predictable as they are a tremendous side (although 5-1 is a humiliation). Tottenham losing to Gent is another very poor result, but Monaco should not be able to cope with Man City.
I think it's a mixture of the media over rating the top of the premier league and people under rating foreign leagues.

Also Falcao has been scoring for fun recently, I wonder if injuries and confidence limited him here or if the league just didn't suit him.
You've just overrated the Premiership in this post!
Monaco are top of the Ligue 1, above PSG who only last week hammered Barcelona 4-0.
They may not be the same money and marketing in the french league but there are some very good footballers.
Some of the teams in the bottom half of the premier league are shite
