Due to the buggerance of employment I wouldn't have time to get there and back within two weeks - so I shall limit my hiking to the time I spend there.
By the way, I see that it's now possible to get to Kazakhstan cheaply if you purchase two returns by Wizzair i.e. Luton to Budapest and Budapest to Astana. One to think about next year.
Wikipedia: "Indochina, originally Indo-China, is a geographical term originating in the early nineteenth century and referring to the continental portion of the region now known as Southeast Asia. The name refers to the lands historically within the cultural influence of India and China, and physically bound by India in the west and China in the north. It corresponds to the present-day areas of Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, and (variably) peninsular Malaysia."

I find flights to Malaysia/KL with the national carrier to usually be around the lowest
Having lived there people refer to Thailand and Malaysia as being in SE Asia, and French Indochina is known as Indochina.
PS I don't think they care about Wikipedia or cartography TBH

I've seen flights on air asia from KL to london that were dirt cheap, but the other way round was much pricier, not sure if theres a way to beat the system there.
