Can anyone recommend a reliable company to go down the compensation route after a traffic accident?
Or is it ok to go with one the big companies that advertise on the telly (injury lawyers 4 u etc.)

My wife got stung by these - she was insured through Aegeas, who are their partners, and Newlaw phoned up with a few "innocent" questions .
A few days later they sent us our wills that they had made up, at a cost of £60 each, IIRC. They drew up MY will, without even speaking to me.
I complained and got them cancelled, but be warned.

Really can't stand the Ambulance chaser type companies.
I say this as a high street solicitor: go and see a solicitor in a firm local to you. Stay away from the claims management companies that advertise on TV.
The difference is you're not potentially dealing with some unqualified clown who you'll never meet in person, and you keep the work in Wales if that makes any difference to you.
