As another poster has pointed out I thought Ralls was excellent today and got through a huge amount of the dirty work to allow the likes of Damour to shine. We have an excellent looking midfield there.Originally Posted by TH63

I'm really not a fan of Hoilett but he had a great game today. Love every moment of this match!
I'll admit there wasn't much in it, but I thought damour looked a different class.
Agree that our midfield looks excellent. What a find Mendez-Laing is.

I was very pleased with the Tomlinson and Ward signings and thought this guy would be a handy squad player, but the more I see him I think he could easily be our key midfield player.

I'm a Ralls fan, but I felt his distribution was off today. But hey all the unwarranted positive comments today make up for the bad comments in the past which were harsh at best
His work rate was superb and he did the really hard work that allowed NML, Zohore, Damour and Hoilett to flourish today. Hence the rating I gave him.
I accept this is personal and others will see things differently but it was a post made to start a discussion on the players performances today.
I agree with you, I personally think he puts in a shift every game and does the work to allow others the space and time to do the flashy stuff. His passing was a bit off today hence my difference in opinion

Hoilett should have had a 9 from start to finish, his best game since he came to us, last season he was not fit, but now he is superb yesterday along with Laing
