Also a win in front of a big crowd.
It'd be nice to get back to 20k + crowds and we'll need a few more displays like this to get there

For me it was seeing a number of players showing that they are capable of scoring goals and trying to do so.
For too long we have relied on getting the ball to one player whilst the others have then watched on whilst he tried to score.
Today there was movement, support and ambition.
My only negative being that in the first ten/fifteen minutes our defence looked a bit shaky and they seemed unable to clear the ball effectively. Bennett was having a tough time.

Yes.
Sadly, mid week games are a problem for me so at least one less on Tuesday.
My positive was we were better than them.
We had something that we haven't had for a long time.
Pace
Players who can beat their man with pace and skill. Up the middle and on both sides.
Great to see the team look to get forward with purpose
We need to be realistic , for a number of reasons :
fans /families cannot afford it .
we dont have enough die hard fans .
In our area we suffer from a lot of plastic premiership followers
Rugger enthusiastic effects us .
If we go up or stay at the top we will attract glory seekers.
You only got to look around you and ask yourself how many footy fans you know who follow Wales footy home an abroad , and don't buy a City season ticket or regularly attend our games to establish the reason for not getting 20k plus crowds ,which we should get on Tuesday ,bet we won't.
That's fair enough. I'd be delighted with 20k, but expect about 18.
A lot of the lads I play 5s with will go to every Wales home game and quite a few away, but only occasionally ( for some) watch City, preferring to watch premier football on the TV in most cases.
I WhatsApp'd them highlights of today's game saying that we are a team worth watching in the hope that maybe 1 or 2 would go Tuesday, not holding my breath though.
On the other hand the attendance would only have been 4.5k without us being there
Personally I was hoping for in excess of 25k but was still pleased with the numbers & indeed support that I witnessed yesterday.
After the game it was great to see so many people with smiles on their faces & wanting to talk about the game. Hopefully those present will tell their friends & family that we are a team well worth seeing so more & more people want to buy tickets.
I have a funny feeling that the ticket office staff are in for a busy day tomorrow & long may it continue.
I didn't realise how much I missed it until I went yesterday, I'd love us all to be able to go to every game but it's impossible, for us to go Steve had to take the night off work, fri and sat are his main earners so that's like half a weeks wages plus the price of the 3 tickets, there is no way we could do that all the time even if we wanted to, if we could make it trendy for people to get married on Weds & Thurs instead of Sat it would be a great help.
For me the big positive was a free transfer from Rochdale. Yesterday was the first day that I can remember not hearing a negative comment about the club, players or performance for a very long time.
