Whitts had a slight niggle today so couldn't start. However he come on as sub with 15 mins to go to steady the ship and help Rovers see the game out.
Where do you get that from? Rovers official site says he was dropped.

Never understood why managers drop a player due to a niggle then use them from the bench, unless he's being a bit economical with the truth.
Whitts definately on bench for Blackburn and came on in 79th minute for Craig Conway.
