Wow!
Holy Shit!
And
Wow!
OK, the general gist has been known for some time, but the way it was all presented was superb.
Unfortunately, there are hints that the Series 8 (the final one) may not be with us until 2019 - long wait.
*********Spoilers if you are not up to date************
Littlefinger gets what he deserves.
Cersei is as treacherous as ever.
Jamie looks like he may turn out for the "white hats". (My own theory is that he will kill Cersei at the end, we shall see)
Jon isn't Jon, and he screws his auntie Dany.
The Wall doesn't stand up to a dead dragon.
As usual, very well produced but it was very predictable. I was expecting at least one big cliffhanger.
Crazy (??) theory I've read recently.
Bran was told that when he wargs, he mustn't stay to long or he'll get trapped.
We also know that he can influence the past; was responsible for Hodor.
Biggest twist of all big twists is that he goes back to the creation of the Night King again and tries to stop it, but gets trapped...
Bran IS the Night King!!
Can't see it myself, but posted for discussion ( or ignore it )
My youngest son is a proper GOT nerd - analyses every episode, read all the books, posts on those nerdy forums, watches the after show stuff etc, and he's convinced that Bran is the night king. He's spent the past two years telling me that Jon is the son of that Targaeryon(?) person and is related to the dragon woman so he's feeling quite smug now.
Personally I can't remember who half of the people are and find it overrated and a bit dull at times. Don't get me wrong, it's very good and I can see the appeal, it's just not the sort of thing I usually watch.
Yeah a little but that is because it's wrapping up
It was spectacular though.
I must admit my mind was racing with so much information when Dany and Jon etc sat waiting for Cersei. Years of relationships and double/triple crosses right there facing etc other!
Brillliant
I just want to know if tormund is ok
crap show. boring
****ing nerds
It isn't my usual cup of char either but Ive enjoyed it and just binge watched the most recent series (season!).
I agree with the names thing. Good stuff but its confusing unless you're really into it and know all the back story details. If I hadn't read this thread I wouldn't have got the auntie/nephew thing. I just thought old Jonny Snowflake was filling his boots. I may watch them all again before the finale so I get a better handle on things.
I was like that in the early series. It was a case of "who is that guy with a beard? - Is he for or against that other guy with a beard?"
I picked up on most of them as the series played on, but it wasn't until I read the books (and re-watched the progs) that I understood ALL of the characters (well, nearly all)
I read somewhere that there's well over a thousand named characters
