I've had conversations with English people in the past and some get quite upset by the fact that I rarely want England to win at anything when Wales are not involved.
I've even made out I have been rooting for England just to save them the pain
Although I have to confess that for some reason I wanted England to beat Germany in the 96 Euros.
I really do not know what came over me!
I am a 4 on this scale.
However, I consider myself a North of the river Londoner rather than English/ Welsh/ British.
Always one awkward bugger!

Living outside Wales for so long has not reduced any feeling of "Welshness". In fact, quite the reverse, given how little regard the Scots and French have for the English.
