"Already a massive difference in the DVP this season.
Craig Bellamy was the manager last season and we suffered badly in my opinion, well the results don't lie, they were pretty awful.
Andy Legg is the manager this season and in charge and runs the show full-time."
Wasn't Bellers just "player development manager". Was he actually managing the DVP side at any stage?
Also, isn't Jarred Harvey co-manager as well this year? I'm not quite sure of Legg's role?
Assuming they are still on trial with us, two could be David Attah (LW) and Ufumwen Osawe (RB). Here's TOBW's report from the previous game. Encouraging read on Osawe...

Of much more importance having now seen the highlight's has anyone (Gringo, TOBW) come up with a name for our trialist striker who scored both goals? As reported his second was a fine goal. Very pacey and well built, hard not to make a comparison with Ken. From the brief highlights a few other trialists appeared to have acquitted themselves well too.
I can't be too much use to you I'm afraid emjay. I can tell you that the trialist right back was not the French lad Attah who quite impressed me when I watched him against Crewe a fortnight ago and the number 11 looked quite like Osawe who scored the late winner in that match. There's some good close ups of the other trialists including the number nine who looked pretty good besides his goal, but I didn't recognise anyone - nice to see Mark Hudson on the touchline as well.
Highlights Coxe and Abbruzzese in action for Wales u21s vs a very impressive full strength Portugal.

Having watched it again this morning, despite what the initial report said, it was the no 7 (right midfielder) who netted the first and the impressive looking number 9 the winner. Great effort by the number 10 of a worldy from his own half, it looked in all the way, their goalkeeper was certainly of that opinion! Let's hope some of these trialist have done enough for a few run outs to further impress. Pretty hard to make any judgement on one 90 min showing, let alone viewing 4 mins highlights of said game!

Callum Paterson is in the team tonight the game tonight - there's also two trialists starting and another one on the bench.

Great news on Patterson. I must say I have almost forgotten about him and what he potentially brings to the team is very exciting. Will look forward with interest as to how he performs. Doubt he will get much more than an hour though, maybe even just 45 mins, but it is a big step and a boost to our already impressive looking squad.
Yeah, great to see bet he is buzzing. Hopefully he'll get a good 45 mins in. Are you going tonight? Would be good to get some insight into your thought on the trialists involved.
2 Nil to Hull after 34 minutes.
Byrne, Duffus, Abbruzzese, Veale (C), Trialist, Young, Paterson, Waite, Trialist, Harris, Coxe.
Spence on for Paterson at HT
Reynolds on for Young
City Twitter account saying the Harris is playing well on the left. I'm presuming that's Mark not Kareem.
The team sheet at the ground listed the trialists as Ciaron Brown

and Jahvan Davidson-Miller.

There was also a player on the bench called Thomas Gaydu but he didn't get on.

Whole team struggled first half and we set up both of their goals with poor clearances. Paterson understandably rusty. Did a lot better in the second half. Neither trialist really shone but I thought they did okay in general.
The trialist (Gaydu) who didn't get on was previously under contract with Inter Milan! Didn't seem much point in having him on the bench if they weren't going to bring him on.
The performance and formation in the first half I thought was shambolic but they switched to a more orthodox 442 in the second half and were much improved.
I thought the striker had something about him but the service and support he got was terrible. Should've scored with a header but, until Harris started taking up some good positions late on, he was pretty isolated.
Definitely a struggle first half, no one looked comfortable with three at the back. The first goal was a mess and we got opened up time and time again. Paterson was, erm, work in progress and his presence meant Coxe had to play on the left and Abbruzzese in midfield which didn't do either any favours. An improvement second half as you and CS said, we played some good stuff. Waite and Spence are talented lads and always good to watch although Waite tired a bit towards the end.
I'm not sure what Paterson's build will be when he's match fit but he's a unit for now. Looks like him and Mendez-Laing could be a very powerful combination up the right.
