Thread: Yet another

    Yet another

Pompous prima-Donna manager with a sense of entitlement.

These foreign managers need to be brought down a peg or two.

He claimed Bamba's goal was offside.

Rubbish. A Wednesday defender played him on and was level or goalside all the way.

You would never hear Our Neil moaning like that!

I have no problem with it. Perhaps he over estimates his team's style a little. I mean they're not exactly Wolves are they?

    Xenophobia???

Grow up. Not everything has an underlying agenda of discrimination.

    His point is relevant.

Foreign managers in the championship are the ones that seem to be whinging about physicality being used unfairly to stop their Barcelona style football.

Hence the op's point about foreign managers.

    Why?

I haven't heard a UK manager moaning about the physicality of the Championship for some time. It happens, of course, but Cardiff have come up against two continental managers, and both mention Cardiff's physicality and/or unorthodox
    standards.

I don't think the Wednesday manager is being derogatory, he's saying Cardiff are a tough side to play against.

But, both the Wolves and the Wednesday managers are starting to look as though they haven't done much research on their new leagues.

No it isn't. Warnock said after Cardiff beat Wolves that it was a good "English" performance. The OP is backing that up by highlighting that the only managers complaining about Cardiff's style so far are those that have little (if any) knowledge of our second tier.

We were moaning about Alex Niel saying it before the PNE game too, it's just irrelevant everyone just has preconceived ideas about a Warnock team. Even Holloway said similar before the QPR game.

Maybe so, but Neil and Holloway weren't whinging about it after the game as though somehow it affected the game, whereas the two Johnny Foreigners () were. Neil and Gollum were making a general comment about Colin's teams.

The fact is there seems to be a tendency amongst foreign championship managers to whinge about roughhouse tactics generally (not just warnocks teams) - hence the reason the op mentioned it.

To start shouting about xenophobia says more about you than the op.

P.s change your bloody username - an argument between you and 'Nick' is almost impossible to talk about.

Most Wednesday fans I know aren't big fans of his, so I'm not surprised they'll react like that.

Reading it back, you may well be right.

I can't bloody tell these days.

The trouble is Croesy/Nick has become a parody of himself.

Either that or he's just too subtle.
