My silly lady ran the hoover over the wire going from my sound bar to the subwoofer box, and cut it in two. Its the clear , narrow speaker wire. Can this be stripped back and joined??

Only cheapish Samsung, the subwoofer seems to be a sealed unit, so dont think I could replace the whole cable.
As above It will work.. Wrap the severed wires around correctly (colored) and tightly. Strip as less as you can and tape it well.

You can buy these little plastic boxes which allow you to push the wires in from both sides tighten small screws
bind with insulating tape and job done.
Did this when our rabbit chewed through the cable
