The kind of gun it take's to do this (never mind the will) baffle's me no end. If you or anybody else can not only own one, purchase the required ammunition, check into a hotel, set up shop n start squeezing the trigger baffles me further. Military grade weapon's in the hand's of grade A lunatic's. The right to bear arms doesn't in any way mean it is right to do so.
"Mike McGarry, a 53-year-old financial adviser from Philadelphia, was at the concert when he heard hundreds of shots ring out.
“It was crazy - I laid on top of the kids. They’re 20. I‘m 53. I lived a good life,” McGarry said. The back of his shirt bore footmarks, after people ran over him in the panicked crowd. "

Anyone else find the response from trump really weird:
My warmest condolences and sympathies to the victims and families of the terrible Las Vegas shooting. God bless you!
A strange choice of words
Shocking numbers of gun deaths in the US. This is the year up until September, i.e. not including this incident.
-11,572 gun deaths
-23,365 gun injuries
-271 mass shootings
-1,508 unintentional shootings
-2,971 kids/teens shot

Things that leap out to me are pretty much one mass shooting per day and that injuries are barely double that of deaths - meaning that you get shot and there's a cecent chance you're gonna die.
It sounds as if the Tweeter-in-Chief has confused himself again. I would have thought that 'deepest' condolences would be the trite but expected response. 'Warmest' works best with congratulations. Either way the tweets of Donald Trump are just an embarrassing irrelevance in the face of another tragic 'domestic' massacre. No doubt the NRA agenda will inform the Presidents eventual more considered statement on events in Las Vegas - and nothing will be done (again) to ban, restrict or even control accessible weapons of mass murder.
Nevada is a "Shall-carry" state i.e the the authority that grants the licence has no discretion, i.e any numpty can get one.
There is no permit to purchase required
No requirement to register the gun(s)
You only need a concealed carry licence for a hand gun
Open carry is permitted
No assault weapon law
No restriction on the size of the magazine
It is not illegal to carry a gun into a casino, although the casino will probably ask you (nicely I'm guessing) to leave.
Rumours that the bloke and his mrs were involved in an altercation at the concert and she was heard to threaten to kill everyone.
Pretty much. It's called CCW - Concealed Carry. It's the ONLY licence you need and the issuing authority (in Nevada) basically HAVE to grant you one. Some other states at least check you're not a loony tune. It's harder to get a library ticket in our country.
Most states are Concealed Carry only, so you won't see someone walking down fifth avenue with a cowboy holster, in Vegas, that guy could've wandered down the street holding an AK47 in front of him and the police wouldn't have been able to do a thing until he pointed it at someone or pulled the trigger.
ISIS claiming responsibility.
To be fair they don't know a motive yet, it isn't automatically a terrorist event just because a lot of people have been killed there needs to be a political motivation.
There are rumours this guy was a far left lunatic targeting a country music festival which has right leaning people attend which would mean it was a terrorist attack but it isn't cofirmed yet.
Think that was the wrong man.

Thanks for the head's up mate. Its messed up. Really is. The Don has called for flag's to be flown at half mast, and put they're trust in the Lord. Maybe he should tackle the bullshit laws that you have described and they could then put a bit of trust in the folks that make them.
Shocking as this is I don't think it will worry the NRA or the rest of the idiots who
support " the right to bear arms ".
A seriously ferked up country.
I've been to the States 6 or 7 times and I always feel slightly uncomfortable there
because you never know which nutter will shoot you.
Once we stopped at a services in the middle of nowhere and there was a wonderful big truck.
I thought that would make a great picture of a great paint job in the great outdoors.
Got my camera out but before I took any pics two guys ran up to me pushed and shoved me
and threatened to " blow my ferking head off " if I took just one picture.
Have a nice day I thought as I got back on our bus.
I have still not seen one argument from an American that makes me think "the right to bear arms" is anything but ridiculous.
Their man argument is that it's in the constitution, which was written ages ago, what's wrong with updating laws?
They love throwing people in prison, it's a big business. Just think how many more they can lock up for possession of a firearm if they banned guns. No brainier for me..
Stephen Paddock brought an arsenal of weapons into the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas before opening fire on a crowd at a country music festival Sunday night, police said.
“We are still going through the search warrant … but [he had] in excess of 10 rifles,” Joseph Lombardo, the sheriff of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, told reporters at a Monday morning press conference.
10 ****ing rifles in a hotel..
