Not convinced about the Visit Malaysia bit. There's no way they'd design a kit and leave the sponsor wording looking like an afterthought in a rubbish font.

He has tried almost everything you can think of to help with his calf's/hamstrings that lad. Never seems to be able to get to the bottom of it. Must frustrate the feck out of him

Sorry if I'm being stupid here, but 40th anniversary of what? The kit itself? If so isn't it older than 40 years? So many questions.....

    1975 to 1980 ... 40th(ish) anniversary.

The final edition lasted from 1978.

You're right though 1975-76 was 1st season of use.

Your both right known as Derek "Danny " Showers or Nookie Bear

Prolific scorer in reserves , club thought he'd replace Tosh and save some dosh (pun intended).

Debuted at 17 for the City .

    Played for Wales

    Re: 40th Anniversary Kit

That was the first season we ever had yellow on our shirt. Yellow reappeared again in 1995, and has appeared 6 times after that. 3 of these were during a consecutive period 2007-2010. Blue and white are our colours. The kit was unpopular at the time and was only bought because nobody else wanted it and it was cheap. It is the design of the Luton town kit worn the season before. No thanks.
