Sludge. Mike Powell the cricketer? Or is it Andy Powell rugby player?
Agree with you. It’s criminal damage and irrespective of whether you are a football supporter as a member of the public you would be charged by the Police

Not the game of rugby itself , I enjoy it
But in today's Wales on Sunday ex player Lee Byrne gives an account of a night out with Mike Powell and Gavin Henson in Cardiff , they were all pissed acting like idiots , Mike Powell is put in the back of a police van , Gavin Henson throws a pool ball at the drinks optics behind the bar , smashing a bottle , several bystanders film the episode , the police turn up ......and tell the members of the public to delete the footage !!
For f sake that's criminal damage , if that was a football fan south Wales police would cuff him and charge him
Byrne goes onto describe many other anti social drunken nights out in Bridgend and Cardiff with senior Welsh players
The double standards we football fans have to put up with is a disgrace , Henson could have taken someone's eye out ......yet the police intervene and do nothing !!
Byrne is signing his new warts and all book at various locations around south Wales in November , I think I will give it a miss

Andy Powell the rugby player.
Byrne in the 1st part was whinging about his treatment by Howley.
Then you see this bragging about the high jinx and you realise Howley was right.
Sounds like Byrne is making these revelations by trying to make a few bob via publishing a book. If money-grabbing isn't the intent then why not publish it over the internet through a free blog site?
Id rather read a Cass Pennant classic than Byrnes effort.
High jinks, innit?
The Tafia celebrate it. Welsh media outlets revel in incidents such as the golf buggy one (people’s lives put at risk) and wax lyrical on scrum 5 over stories of booze fuelled ABH.
Dull. As. F**k.
All these rugby players with "off the pitch problems".
It's mainly because they're all as thick as sh1t!!
So they lacked the skill of the new Zealander and lacked the dedication and control to be physically the best? Wonderful players weren't they?
Based on this it seems right for Byrne to be dropped and send a message to the others.
Saw them all one night and they were acting like twats, Powell was rugby tackling people outside the Walkabout.
In fairness though you won’t see many better role models then sam warburton. A real class act on and off the pitch, likewise Jamie Roberts.
Well, Warburton did want to play football, didn't he? Had to settle for egg chasing due to not being good enough.
Neil Jenkins was a good bloke , a couple of years back the Welsh squad were on the piss in one bar and it was split into two , in our section we were watching city away at Leeds when we beat them away four nil a couple of years back , anyway he had no interest in pissing it up with the Welsh team he was going potty with us as we watched us smash Leeds , people say he is a united fan but he was cheering on Cardiff big time that night, shook everybody's hands
There's a great story about Andy Powell and a friend of his battering a bunch of QPR fans in a West London pub a few years ago. Rugby players from other countries always seem so intelligent this current Welsh lot bar a few notable exceptions sounds painfully stupid.
There has never been a lot going on upstairs with most rugby players in Wales with as you say the odd exception
Gavin Henson is dull as a brush and often looked for a fight as did mike Phillips , Phillips got a pasting outside Jackson's by one of the bluebirds finest a few years back
