With that front 3 they've got to be looking at scoring 3 goals.
Can't see Man City coping with them spreading that ball all over the pitch ..
3-1 to the mighty wolves.
Anything less than five nil to wolves will see heads roll
9-0 hattrrick each for front 3. With Pep making bids for all 3 in January
It will probably be a massive reality check for the deluded Wolvertrampton fans.
I hope so anyway
5 - 5
And the ref will get the blame allowing City to bully them
All joking aside it should be a cracking game.
An opportunity to watch a free flowing world class team playing the game with style and finesse in a way that rivals the great Brazil teams of yesteryear.
And Man City.
A selection of genuine posts from their predictions thread on their forum. Not sure if they're taking the pi$$ or really that deluded tbh:
"2 1 Wolves , Bright & Alfred ."
"Hope we win but not unduly bothered if we get beaten …….we have bigger fish to fry!!"
"Mancs 1 wolves 2"
"This has the potential to be a real banana skin match.....for us.
Still 4-5 Wolves I reckon."
"Just looked at the predicted Man City team on the blue moon forum, if we make loads of changes we will get hit for 4 or 5 most likely. If we go full strength can see us giving them a game purely because we will shock them with our attacking play, can't think of an English team that has been their this season and attacked them. Can see us scoring a couple in a 3-2 loss"
"2-2 Costa & Jota"
"Wolves 2-0 win. We got 200/1 for this.
(Few quid on 1-0 @ 66/1 and 2-1 @ 90/1 too)"
"3-2, Costa twice and Bonatini. Jesus and Bernardo Silva for them."
"I love us being the underdogs, as will all our players. I think there could be an upset..."
"If we can score a goal or two, I'll be happy. Shame its not being televised, both teams are very attacking and play free-flowing football,"
"Best team in the Championship against the best team in the Premier League. Hmmmmm, this could be embarrassing or maybe - just maybe we can pull off another Anfield result. Don't you just love football?"
"I,ll go 2-1 wolves richards to score the winner."
"I think it will be 3-1 I think we will score first but then I think they will just out do us on fitness and firepower as they are playing some of the best football I've seen in a long time but then again so are we so you never know COYW"
To be fair, there are also quite a few of them that acknowledge that Man City will probably hammer them, but still....
Do you think we might be taking this a bit far?
I know they were wankers when we trounced them, but they have a decent side and could well win the league.
We also like to get carried away when we are doing well.
We are doing well now. But no evidence on any of the Cardiff messageboards of our fans getting carried away. Cautious optimism seems to be the limit.
Wolves on the other hand seem to be suffering from mass hysteria and collective delusional fantasies that they are world beaters.
There is a lot to admire about this Wolves team (there should be given how much it cost to assemble), but just as much to despise about a large number of their puffed-up and entitled fans.
At least 4. Their front 3 is... what was the word? Ludicrous? No. Something like that though.
Minus 5.
I'm expecting an exciting, free-flowing, high scoring game from two of the better European sides, especially with Wolverhampton Wanderers players probably feeling aggrieved following their lack of awards at the FIFA football awards last night.
I hope this thread doesn’t come back to bite us on the arse
Tonight will probably be a decent game to watch..Man City have been devastating against far better sides than wolves. Not to say that wolves haven't assembled a decent 11..
Yet we ain't too far off them at this point.
A team predicted to finish 14th, and wolves who have spent nearly 20 million on a player that played for Porto, people leave Porto to go to United city and real Madrid.. so clearly they are paying big fees and also big wages...so they should piss this league..
They can win tonight, don t think this thread will come back to bite us on the arse mind...neither will it at the end of the season if they finish 15 points ahead of us...becasue in reality they should.
If they do win then it shows their fans were right all along and they truly are the best team on the planet
Is the Real Manchester v Wolvelona game on TV?
I bet Fake Manchester FC and Mourinho are hoping for a home loss.
PS surely it's time for a "front 3" smiley?
