I hate flying so I am a strictly holiday in the UK type
Can't usually be arsed to go any further than saundersfoot and tenby or minehead if I go over the bridge
Always stay in a static caravan , hate tents
I visit at least two countries every year that I have not previously visited.
This year's 'new' countries were Bosnia, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia.
Last year's 'new countries' were Cuba, Serbia, Kosovo, Bulgaria and Macedonia.
Just Belarus, Moldova and Ukraine left to visit in Europe.
Off to Vietnam, Cambodia and Vietnam in January.
All cheap flights and cheap accommodation so that I can do as many trips as possible whilst also slotting in visits to countries previously visited.
Cornwall....St Ives...been going there since 1975 love the place, was lucky as the wife’s mum lived there
COTSWOLDS
Lovely small villages, with lots of great pubs & inns and not to many screaming brats. PERFECT
Cape Verde is the new Egypt
I hate flying so I am a strictly holiday in the UK type = Interpol warrant remains live.
Can't usually be arsed to go any further than saundersfoot and tenby or minehead if I go over the bridge = I'm a cheapskate.
Always stay in a static caravan , hate tents = Trecco Bay should be renamed to Pikeys-by-the-Sea and is remarkably low cost.
I went to France 5 times last year it was great
These so-called club 1830 holidays are a con. I went on one once and no one else seemed to be remotely interested in discussing the accession of William IV.
Fly fishing for salmon on the Grimersta Estate in Scotland.
France, Spain, Florida, Germany, Nederlands with at least one camping trip a year
Butlins.
Kids love it... that's all that matters.
Plus I enjoy the game of "disappear for sneaky pint every couple of minutes/hours and see if the wife notices".
Doing a one off holiday next summer as it will be the last one as a family of four as older boy wants to do his own thing. We will go to New York for a week and then an internal flight to Miami for a week.
Usually we do two weeks in Europe and get cheap flights to nice places.
Not fussed on going to the same place twice, it's a big 'ol planet and there's not time to see it all.
That said, I prefer European destinations and also the many delights of the UK too. Always a weather gamble in Britain / Ireland , but sometimes that's part of the fun perhaps.
We did 7 weeks in Cornwall this year ( 2 X 1 week and 1 X 5 weeks ), though we camped in our caravan
