If you miss as many chances as they did then you don’t deserve to score.
2nd best for long periods, some terrible defending but also some heroic stuff. How Brentford came away without at least a point today I'll never know.Their finishing was awful.

I agree with the general sentiment on here - how Brentford failed to get anything from the game I don't know - though we should have had 2 in the first 10 minutes. How Bamba missed from 1 yard I don't understand either.
Good points from the game:
- apart from a couple of brain freezes which could have been avoided I thought Etheridge was excellent and kept us in the game.
- Great to see Bennett and Gunnarsson back
- We won and had some really good attacks and interpassing
- Ward was more effective than I've seen him before
- We're back up to 2 points per game average!
Less good points:
- Feeney was ineffectual today
- Fred didn't seem to be anywhere near the pace of the game when he came on
- We were too easily opened up and gave the ball away too easily
- We missed NM-L really badly
I hope we get some of our better players back soon, we're going to need them if we want to stay in touch
Agree. They were better. They won the midfield battle but they were so wasteful. That said, we always create good chances under Neil which is why he grabs us so many points.

It was Morrison's fault I think. That was one of a few backpasses he played a little short to Etheridge.

Yes, poorly weighted back pass. Didn't spot that at the game from where I was sat so a bit harsh to blame Etheridge.
