bing bong he has finally gone.
When he was younger he had everything, fame, good looks, money,women, the lot. He died suffering from dementia and alcoholism and bankrupt. Very sad. He came across as a really decent bloke. RIP
I often think that fame is often very damaging to people on several levels.
Shortly after Bob Marley died in May ‘81 a journalist asked former-Wailer Peter Tosh what the passing of this charismatic reggae figure meant.
Tosh considered the matter carefully, then offered this insightful observation: “No more music from Bob.”
