There will be a pitch inspection at Griffin Park at 1pm to determine whether tomorrow's game has to be postponed.
I wonder if they taking travel into consideration. Cardiff was deluged last night and it's snowing heavy again now. Not one car has tried to leave my street this morning.
Probably considering the Cardiff team have to try and get there today?
Game called off by match referee Matt Foley following a pitch inspection.
If there’s an increased risk of supporters, staff and players getting caught up in traffic accidents or stranded on trains/motorways or getting injured in icy conditions then it’s an easy decision to make.
There are still yellow and amber snow warnings right across the south of England and Wales. I don’t think the pitch is the main issue here.
Correct decision
Sensible decision.
POSTPONED
Just heard from my brother in Brentford.
Gutted - was looking forward to this but glad I didn't have to risk the travel really.
Any ideas when the replay will be - I'll struggle to make most midweeks games.
Very annoying but probably best for fans in Wales. Seems amateurish that Brentford didn't bother covering the pitch, given it was forecast for ages and they don't have undersoil heating.
Glad that's sorted.
Had 67 coming up with us tomorrow- was facing a nightmare. Can relax now
If anyone is unable to make a mid week game at Brentford, and wants to off load their ticket please let me know.
Cheers

Brentford’s game with Cardiff has been postponed due to adverse weather conditions affecting the Griffin Park pitch.
The Beast from the East and Storm Emma have caused havoc in west London this week and the Bees are the latest club to fall victim to the weather.
A club statement read: “Brentford vs Cardiff City has been postponed after a pitch inspection took place earlier today.
“Officials arrived at Griffin Park at 1pm, where work had been ongoing to try and get the game on this weekend, and made an inspection of the pitch and surrounding area.
“Referee Matt Foley made the final call that conditions would not be playable by 3pm on Saturday afternoon and the game has been rescheduled.
“All tickets purchased for this match will be valid for the rearranged fixture, and refunds will be given for those who cannot attend. Full details of the new fixture date will be announced in due course.”
Available midweek dates between now and the end of the season are March 13, April 17, April 24 and May 1.
I'm sure I will have spares
Can't argue with the decision. Safety first.
See you all on Tuesday
I don’t think Brentford wanted to play us in bad conditions,we would have bullied them off the park.
