There are lots of Labour MPs blaming Corbyn for not following parliamentary protocol on this , some of them have even tabled a motion in commons supporting the Govt position. If you read the Guardian then see what Anna Turley and Nia Griffith (shadow defence secretary) has to say about JC.

And how is it that whenever there is a vote on Nato - JC votes against it, anything on America - he votes against it.
If anything with this - you now fully get the character of Corbyn. Perpetual demonstrator (he's had plenty of practice) , but as leader of a country, with a marxist as a chancellor..... oh deary me.
JC he is a man of principal ,however and dislikes the western capitalist systems , the bigger and broader question , is he right for PM lead the country , could he carry that through , would he be at odd with western military strategy ; foreign policy , and agree with his front bench who be needed to drive a collective ploicy ( its not a dig at JC its a real question )

Have to agree. No way would Russia have used nerve agent.
It’s been made to look like a Russian act.
No evidence here like there was in the Litvinyenko murder. Just suspicion.

    Show me the evidence.
I heard an interview on SKY TV with the former President of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili, victim of an assasination attempt a few years ago.
He said that it was certain that Putin personally signed off the attack in Salisbury, encouraged by the weak U.K. response to the Litvinenko murder
Furthermore, the agent used was deliberately high-profile as a warning to other double agents, and to the West, of Russia's intent and lead in such weaponry.
The last time Saakashvili met Putin in the Kremlin, the Russian leader's parting remark was: " The West promises many good things but doesn't deliver, we don't promise good things but we deliver"!
    We have been warned.

Oh, and we should have expelled 24 not 23 - to include Corbyn, it's where his true loyalties lie - always against the West.

Why would the people inside the safety cordon wear safety clothes while those outside the safety cordon don't?

    It's a mystery, alright.

    Who said this?

“Naturally, the common people don’t want war; neither in Russia, nor in England, nor in America, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. The people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same way in any country”.

Lucky that's not your job then

I'm not sure what point you were making. Do you think the safety cordon should never end?

This is like a Cardiff city transfer story. Everybody is suddenly ITK. Most of the people saying 'it was definitely Russia' have completely contradicted each other when trying to explain why they think that.

The classic WB diversion. What point were you making about the safety cordon?

Has anybody asked Christopher Steele if he is acquainted with any of these Russians who are coming under attack?

Could you point me in the direction of any relevant procedure manuals or are you just making this up?

Russia expels 23 British diplomats. At least they know how bloody angry we are though.

"Mike Morell, the former deputy director of the CIA, helps explain the delay. Morell did some digging into Christopher Steele’s dossier and shared the results of his research at a public forum in Washington, D.C., in March 2017. Steele, according to Morell, did not have direct access to the Russians whom he labeled as his “sources” — people who included former officers in the FSB. He “communicated” with them, if that is the right word, through paid intermediaries, who paid the so-called sources."

Steele did not have direct to his Russian sources and he never went to Russia, so who were these intermediaries? Are they Russian? Did they live in Britain? Are they also spies/ex-spies?

You are obsessed with me Mambo, it's embarrassing.

It's just an observation that everyone agreeing on something for completely opposing reasons doesn't inspire me with a great deal of confidence. In the last two days I have read 'Russia used nerve agent because they thought we wouldn't be able to detect it' and 'Russia used nerve agent because they knew we would be able to detect it'.

I don't know either way but everybody seems to want to pretend that they do.

Many people associated with the Steele dossier have been killed. Ive thought for a while that it was a deliberate mis-information to expose leaks.
Make up a story so scandalous that it simply has to become exposed, sit back and wait for it to come out, then follow the story back to where it was leaked and viciously murder a few people.

Where have I tried to offer any kind of explanation for what happened?

Don't think anyone has said that ,what is clear, he is at odds with a lot of folk including his own party in terms of out right condemnation , and that has a similar theme with the annexing of Crimea and the atrocities in Syria , however very vocal anything USA / Israel ,its an observation not a criticism .

Strangely Russia is slightly right wing , Putin supporters in Europe are right-wing , however Putin himself is not fully right-wing.

Re: Bloody fuss about this Russian poisoning.

There was an interview this morning on Radio 4 with Tom Tugendhat MP where he was allowed to make ridiculous claims about Putin without being challenged. He said Putin had hundreds of billions of dollars invested abroad – i.e. he is several times richer than Bezos, Gates, etc. He has used nerve agents in the Russian Federation. He has been murdering "activists and journalists" for 20 years. The interviewer after listening to these absurd claims then said shouldn't we be doing more to get this information to the Russian people. There is no objective journalism at the BBC. It is non-stop propaganda.

Tom Tugendhat was only elected in 2015 and now he is already the Chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee. It is frightening that someone who can make irrational comments like the above is now being seen as a future Conservative leader.

The "Putin is the richest man in the world" story was put about by Bill Browder. The book about him in the following link will tell you all you need to know about the Browder. It also gives a great insight into how so much money was stolen from Russia under Yeltsin.

    https://dxczjjuegupb.cloudfront.net/...yout_6x9-1.pdf

This is a bit about Alex Krainer, the author of the above book, who is a hedge fund manager. Browder is so powerful that he blocks any article that shows his true colours – he is very dangerous – so these links might disappear soon.

This is a very good article by a barrister about Litvinenko.

    https://off-guardian.org/2018/03/17/...itish-justice/

Those of us on here who are still have working brains know that the chemical attacks in Syria were false flag operations. I think the people behind the Salisbury incident have screwed up and we will get to the truth. There were no unbiased observers in Syria to check the facts but there are now too many people asking questions about Salisbury for the truth to remain hidden. I think when the truth comes out it will bring down this government.
