Massive game at Bramall Lane as Cardiff aim for a ninth straight win
More...
Sheffield United will be without goalkeeper Jamal Blackman for the Sky Bet Championship clash with Cardiff pon Monday evening (7:45pm, live on Sky Sports).
Blackman begins a three-match suspension following his sending-off for a tussle with Ryan Woods against Brentford on Good Friday.
Welsh duo Lee Evans and David Brooks will be pushing for starts after returning to the bench against the Bees following international duty. Midfielder Paul Coutts remains sidelined as he recovers from a knee problem.
Aron Gunnarsson returned to the Cardiff team against Burton and suffered no ill-effects from his 23-minute run-out. Gunnarsson has not played since November because of ankle surgery but after returning for Iceland in the international break was back in a Bluebirds shirt against Albion and will be looking to win back a starting place.
Jazz Richards has had a setback with his ankle injury in training which will rule him out for another two to three weeks. Joe Ralls remains out with a hamstring problem.

Bit concerned about weather. Heavy snow and/or rain forecast!
Good covering of snow @ the moment, about an inch (twice as much as Derby) & still snowing but has all day to clear
How many City fans going?
Lots of games called off in Yorkshire / Derbyshire area because of waterlogged pitches but Sheffield Utd say Bramall Lane is now operating normally and game v Cardiff City is ON after snow overnight caused delays in opening shop and ticket office.

Bit concerned about this rain. Hopefully pitch not waterlogged.
Christ , that stand looks almost vertical !
Really don’t need this game called off. Would take a point today.
The way the results have gone, a win will take Sheff Utd into the play offs, not what we wanted.
Reckon this will be our trickiest game of all the ones left, even villa, who are almost resigned to the playoffs anyway. We should pick points up at Norwich who have fallen apart and derby.
if that happens, jursett will emigrate (hopefully). if we win, jursett will emigrate (hopefully)
I’d take a point now, a win however would be brilliant!
Does anyone else get a pre match headache? Like the one you get when your wife cuddles up to you late at night?
Because I do. Just had to take paracetamol.
I’m not going to miss this even though I’ll be up until 3.30 am.
I was too tense for the brentford game but I’m wound up like a tightly wound up simile thing for this game against Sheffield
