Something to distract you all from penalty misses and negativity.
There are (I think 10) people who have played in the Premier League, managed in the Premier League and managed an international team (only senior team, not U21s or anything like that).
There's one name that I can't remember for the life of me, but I'm certain there are 9 others who have done it. There might even be one or two others that aren't on my list. Bonus pints for any extra names.
Mark Hughes
Gareth Southgate
Ryan Giggs
Gordon Strachan
Roberto Martinez (maybe didn't play)
Roberto di Matteo (scratch him, read Wikipedia wrong)
Hoddle
Chris Coleman
Would Giggs count as managing in Prem given it was a caretaker role? Plus it was him, Scholes etc...
Pint? Cool.
I was thinking Giggs wouldn't count...
Roy Keane
Martin O'Neill
Mick McCarthy?
Not sure if he played in the PL.
Zola
Ah not done Italy
So let's have Roberto Mancini!
A pint for you, sir. Completely forgot that Wilkins (R.I.P) managed Jordan for a short while.
Correct so far:
Hoddle, Hughes, Coleman, Southgate, Strachan, Giggs and Wilkins.
5 more. They're all names people on here will know. I'll give out a couple of hints.
One has a Mexican sounding name, and another had the same name as a domestic cup competition in the U.K not too long ago, one is disliked by Newcastle fans, one got relegated after a controversial points deduction and another was a psycho.
Bryan Robson.
