Worse case scenario now is we have to beat reading and hope Birmingham beat Fulham on last day

So surely surely reading game should be selling out very very soon?!

Amazing night, but 12k empty seats? Not great is it. Let’s at least sell out reading!

Our stadium should have been built at around 23000 capacity , it was too big in the first place and the decision to build that extra stand was stupid

We will of course get big gates in the premier league should we go up but in reality our ground is simply too big for us

The extra tier was to win the Supercup match which did happen and gave Cardiff huge exposure globally.

We then went on to win the bid for the Champions League Final.

The Top Tier also won us the Wales games for the successful Wales Euro 16 Qualifiers.

In no way can the top tier be deemed a failure. Could do with a few more 'Kaiirddiff' filliing it though. That's the only problem as far as I can see.

So, on a night when we took another step towards what would be a most unlikely top two finish, your only contribution to any discussion on the game is to use it to make political points - very odd.

He's not the only one I've noticed tonight Bob.
    Shame on them

Bloody socialists! If Donald Trump owned the club that new stand would continue all around the stadium into a bowl. We would look like Real Madrid we would

We've already used it three times this season and probably once more next week.

Probably brought in £250k for the club and hundreds of thousands for Wales.
It may we'll be that without it CCS wouldn't have had Wales games.

Wales have used it loads of times

Also been used occasionally in previous seasons and was needed for the Super Cup.

IF we go up it will be used regularly next year and possibly allow us to sell another 5000 season tickets which we wouldn't otherwise be able to do- bringing in another £1.5- £2 for the club each season we stay up.

Swansea never gambled and as a result are year after year in limbo- 'do we expand, but we might go down'

Given that the stand was heavily subsidised and by the way the balance paid for by our owner , then it's looking like a good long term decision not a bad one.

New stand is a no brainier, it looks nice but it’s like it’s not even there, it’s not used much, but if we need it it is there. It’s a great view up there I was there for wolves game. If last nights game wasn’t on sky, i reckon we’d have had 25k, if it was Friday night then a few more again. I know plenty who were away last night.

If we beat derby and Fulham somehow fail to beat Sunderland, you never know how Sunderland might play, are we up without playing? Unlikely I know but something I hadn’t thought of.

If we win Tuesday and Fulham draw (extremely unlikely), we need a point Saturday, but if win and they were to lose (come on now ) then yes we'd be promoted without kicking a ball before Saturday. Personally I see it as another chance for them to put pressure on us, but I don't think Warnock or the lads are expecting any favours from Sunderland or Brum anyway, we know we just need to win 2 games and get it done

Yes. As the BBC say in their match report:

"Cardiff go to Derby on Tuesday knowing victory could be enough for promotion if Fulham lose at home to relegated Sunderland on Friday."

It is so ridiculously unlikely I LOL'd when I read that. It's probably going to go to the last game of the season I think, with us needing a win to guarantee it.

I'd be happy with needing to beat reading at home in order to go up. My fear is we get 2,1 or 0 points from the next 2 and that would probably need us to beat reading AND Fulham somehow fail to beat Birmingham

I would've bet my house on man Utd beating West Brom last week luckily I didn't as I would now be homeless
