UK on brink of stagnation as growth slows to 0.1% - business live - https://www.theguardian.com/business...-business-live
But for sinking into more and more national debt - currently at 1,720 billion - UK GDP growth would be in minus territory, and would have been for years previously. Debt piled upon debt worldwide has delayed a catastrophic economic crash thus far. But when it blows, as it must, then watch out 'cos starving fatties will be as angry as hell.
It couldn't have happened to a nicer government.
Tories , couldn't run a bath
Since 2008 Britain's national debt has doubled and more, same for the US. Theirs stand at 21 trillion dollars. It's stealing from the future to delay the wheels falling off today.
Car maker Henry Ford was a mega wealthy insider who couldn't abide the fake Semite money changers. He published The Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion far and wide, and Hitler awarded him Germany's highest honour. Ford's most famous quote is below.
'The one aim of these financiers is world control by the creation of inextinguishable debt.'
Sure. The shadow chancellor, a certain George Osborne, backed every one of Labour's spending plans and also backed their decision to bail out the banks following the 2008 crash. He has subsequently confirmed this during the last year in a major TV interview.
It would therefore be safe to assume that the economy in 2010 would have been in a similar state regardless of whether Conservatives or Labour were previously in power, so if you're trying to lever some political stance here, you've failed catastrophically.
So, perceived problems with the economy now can be laid at the feet of the Conservative Government, whilst significant problems encountered by the economy in 2008 were absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with the then Government. Interesting perspective on things.
The economic crash in 2008 was not caused by any government policy at the time. You know that. I know that. Every single independent fiscal organisation has said the same. Let's not waste time trying to re-write history.
Any attempts to blame Labour for the economic problems post 2008 are a waste of time as the Conservatives would have done exactly the same. If you want to blame Labour, carry on. By doing so, you do so knowing you would have to have blamed the Conservatives had they been in Government as they'd have done the same. But you wouldn't have.
No as its debt on the taxpayer , we will see huge wage demands,no budget responsibility, less productivity, I remember those days of being held to ransom. Train strikes, dustbin strikes steel strikes ,car strikes, postal strikes, socket strikes, all in the name of nationlused industry, its a wonderful design, if folk didn't bleed it dry.
