In case you are as confused as I was.
It's not the same competition though. Slovakia is a friendly and then our's is the Nations league. So perhaps they can name a squad for the friendly then name a separate squad for our game if they do sort themselves out.
I don't know this for sure but clubs have to release players so I'd imagine it would be the same squad. But perhaps there is no rule.
The last bit should read June 5-9th 2020.
These last four back door places are decided after the normal qualifying. If Wales qualify by the normal qualifying competition their place in the back door qualifying will be taken by another team from their group. If all three teams in a group have already qualified I’ve not discovered how they resolve it.
The place is taken by the highest rank team in the nations league tier , ours being B.
They'd have to write to clubs to get them back as many have already gone back to their clubs, organise transportation and other admin, and that's banking on the players accepting, its not just scribbling their names on a piece of paper and handing it to a UEFA official

No there isn't, its every two years. Next year is the Euro 2020 qualifiers, after which will be the Nations League playoffs. They won't be able to hold the Nations League playoff qualifiers for Euro 2020 in June 2020
