Think the picture just shows how seriously some of our fans are about their fantasy football teams this year, and are just expressing their annoyance at not including Eden Hazard in this week's team.
It was both Hazard was unplayable. We werent good enough. Chelsea have a fantastic side with wall to wall quality.
We competed for the first 20 minutes or so in the first half and about 6 or 7 minutes in the second.
We have to accept we will be lucky to take anything against the top sides.
Be interesting to see Chelsea against the top sides , Man City, united , Liverpool and Wolves.
Our points will come from the lesser sides. We have competed against the poorer sides we played.
Does that make it any less pathetic though? Spend all game giving him grief and the second he gives a bit back they all have a fit
There’s proper anger in that photo, it isn’t just some shite banter those grown men are actually furious about someone celebrating a goal in front of them after calling him a **** for half hour. How do people seriously get that wound up about it ?
I’ve been to 100s of city matches and never got to the point where I’ve been angry enough to act like that.
Even the Sheffield United match with that ginger guy acting a complete idiot I didn’t.
It’s weird to get that angry about it and the normalisation of it is weird too.
It’s not like it contributes to the atmosphere either.
We were unlucky to be allocated seats right on the divide between City fans and Chelsea fans. I could not believe the behaviour of some of the men at that game. They weren’t kids either. Some were I would guess in their 50’s maybe 60’s. The vile language and gestures had to be seen to be believed. I’m all for a bit of banter but honestly they were a disgrace.
Looked like objects throw on MOTD. Its not the first time this season. Stupid behaviour.
As one of the goals came from a penalty due to a rash/stupid challenge, and one was a deflection I don't think you can put it all down to Hazard's quality. Although, Chelsea are a much better team than us with quality throughout. I'd say it's more of a bit of both. Although, I must admit I haven't seen Sterling's tweet.
