It's becoming tedious now. This is a wonderful bonus . We are the pi## take of everyone.
I wonder if a bad result against Burnley next week will start the vultures circling above Warnock?
Something has to change soon.
This game really doesn't matter. Next week does so keep going, keep positive and keep believing.
Burnley finished 8th last season. I'm sure they're in a false position. That leaves just us, Newcastle and Huddersfield. We need one more team but can't see who it will be.
On the bright side I got a free poncho.
It was a tough watch , for 30 minutes we gave a good account , as with Chelsea and Arsenal , we just can't see it past the 40 minute mark ,these clubs are in the top 10 in Europe , we are just a good Championship side at best , who got up with endeavour, team spirit and some skill.
Other than Ralls ,Arter,Morrison we Don't have any Premeirship type player , and they at best they would be ust squad players , in teams at the bottom half of the league , in my view.
My Dad is 82. Today, for the price of a season ticket the same as in the Championship, he got to see world class footballers play in Cardiff City Stadium. I think it was an occasion worth experiencing. He was disappointed that we didn’t make more of a game of it and so was I, but I love the fact that he’s getting to see these players live.
This will be an amazing season regardless of where we finish and hopefully if we end up in the Championship then it’s with a stronger, better club and team than before, so we can enjoy building a better team for another attempt at promotion.
That’s the true prize we mustn’t lose sight of...
Long way to go yet. Watching Watford v Fulham earlier I was really looking forward to pitting our wits against them.
Both look good going forward but both look shaky at the back. I reckon that’ll be 2 great games for us as will Burnley, Brighton, Leicester etc in the next few weeks.
Games against the top 6 aren’t going to yield many points.
Man City have won the last 34 they have played against promoted sides, so nothing new again today
We knew that we were going to get done today, that's not a problem for me or the majority of fans with any sense. So, what I look for is other things during the game that give me encouragement. A little passage of play, a bit of composure on the ball, a player or two looking to take responsibility, to embrace playing against the best in the world, even if we do get smashed 5-0. I didn't see anything that I could take away from that. At a push Bobby Reid looked like he fancied it at times. We don't support the man with the ball and panic in possession, for me, that's going to be a problem.
Speed, speed and more speed.
Everything Man City did today was at speed and had purpose, they would have beaten anyone. I was disappointed with some of our closing down but quickly realised just how hard it must be to close them down effectively when they are just too good on the ball and at creating space.
For such a talented squad technically they don't half do the unfashionable side of the game extremely well also. I don't think I have ever seen us closed down and tackled so often.
Fair play to them, I don't like watching a match, seeing us lose 5 nil and still be able to take some sort of satisfaction from the match but today I did. I hope Man City fans enjoy it and make the most of it, for all their money it still takes some doing and wont last forever.
Lets see where we are after the Burnley match, that will also be tough b ut nothing like today, not even close.
