The Brexit camp who say democracy must be seen to be carried out fail to realise that true democracy allows people to change their minds when blatant lies swayed their first decision.
Highest TV viewing Xmas day, 6.9 million keep on rocking Liz.
And if there were blatant lies on both sides what do you do then? And if you have a second vote and it is 51 -49% in favour of remaining do we have a third vote because its too close?
A referendum is a vote on one subject with 1 vote. Job done whether we like the result or not!!!
There weren’t any. They have only appeared because, as I said, a remainer is trying desperately to hang on to European coat tails.
With the parliament vote getting delayed longer and longer, a no deal Brexit could well be on the cards. That’ll do for me, and many others who voted to scarper.
This, maybe billy boy is in a nice cushty position he doesn’t really care what happens but it will be a massive kick in the teeth for most people and what’s making it worse is the current government is so fecking useless they can’t even get our own house in order, I think it will be catastrophic for us if there’s a no deal brexit
Farage said he would keep on campaigning for another referendum on the EU if Leave ended up losing the vote 52/48, so I can only assume he supports calls for a second vote? Some people had been campaigning for another vote on our membership of the EEC/EU for forty years before they got one - this won't go away on 30 March, there will be calls for a vote to rejoin the EU (or whatever replaces it) for decades to come, but, of course, the generation most responsible for the result (mine) won't be around to see it.
[QUOTE=the other bob wilson;4935925]So you thought you were voting for a no deal Brexit in 2016?[/QUOTE
Yes
