Need a quick getaway tomorrow - car park question..

How much is it to park in the Sloper Road car park, and are spaces reserved ? Was thinking about dropping car down there around midday and getting a lift to the match later ...

I parked there for the last match. Not reserved but if your going down early that should not be a problem, cost me £10.

Do you mean the stadium car park ? If so I think it is closed 15 mins before the final whistle and not reopened until 30 mins after it. If that's the case then a quick getaway would mean missing a significant chunk of the match ?

Thanks for this info. I’m also planning a quick get away due to work commitments. Was planning on parking in stadium. Looks like I’ll have to rethink.

Leave the car near Victoria Park and get a Boris Bike to the stadium.
To make an even quicker getaway you could avoid the traffic by riding on the pavement .

I don't get those who leave early unless we are a few goals down. If the match is in doubt the last few minutes can be the best part of the game. And if you leave at say 85 minutes you also miss around 4 mins of added time.

Will be 5 mins before final whistle, so won't miss that much. Totally agree about people leaving early in general, just don't get it..

Same situation as works ‘Christmas party’ tonight and Asda’s haven’t helped by introducing limits.

Hoping game is sorted by half time so I can sneak out at 80mins

If you left with 5 minutes to go I'll fill you in what happened

We hit the ball hopefully as far as we could up the field in the last 5 minutes in the hope that they would make mistake. They didn't. It was the same tactic as from the 1st minute

Huddersfield passed it back and forth and still wouldn't score if you had stayed for another 24 hours.

You'll get to see the full game next season in the championship so don't worry about missing the end of this game.
