Peter Mandelson and John Reid were members and others such as Alistair Darling and Alan Milburn were thought to have had links and several Union leaders including Bob Crow were also members. The former Communist leading light - Andrew Murray - was appointed as an advisor to the Labour Party by Jeremy Corbyn. There are probably several Marxist or former Marxist politicians who are not far removed from the Communist Party including the Labour Leader and his shadow Chancellor.
Jesus wept!!!! That’s what I’m talking about. When he said “ to hell with the rest of the world” you and I and everyone else on this board don’t know what context he said it in. If he literally meant he didn’t like anyone from abroad, then he’s there to be shot at. If he meant it in a way that the rest of the world should keep their noses out of Brexit, then that’s different.
As usual, the kicking boys on here steam in without knowing the facts.
We do know the context because he said it in a press conference in front of cameras.

Fwiw Warnock will be on the bastion of left wing journalism the talk sport breakfast show so I would imagine that they'll bring it up then.
He is entitled to his opinion even though if I strongly disagree with him!
However, as the manager of a premier league football club with an international playing squad, international management team and diverse fan base it was a stupid thing to say and stupid timing.
Funny how the uniter fans appears to be doing his upmost to break things again.
Would be fitting to have some EU flags down at the CCS for the next game.
At least the world will realise we aren't all of the same mind set.
You are totally incorrect. In the EU Referendum around 60% of Labour supporters voted Remain. That figure has now increased according to recent polling to at least 70% Remain. In contrast around 75% of Conservative voters wanted to Brexit. So in summary most Labour supporters are a Remainers and most Tories are Leavers.
