Played well at home v Preston in the first half when it was 0-0 got subbed at half time we lost 4-0.
Underrated in my opinion.
According to Alex Ferguson Andrea ferretti would be a class player one day. (Still waiting).

I attended a lecture / discussion a few weeks' ago about Walter Tull, and Derrick Christie was in the audience, and then joined in the Q&A session.
I had a brief chat with him, one of the topics being his friendship with John Buchanan
I remember feeling very sorry for a young, inexperienced Lyn Davies playing behind an appalling City defence. He was on the end of some very heavy defeats until Brian Harris arrived and eventually sorted the defence out. I think he conceded 8 on his only Wales U23 cap as well. His confidence was unsurprisingly shot.
Winston Faerber was a touch of the exotic at the time.
