I think she could have broaden her viewpoint on other regime other than right wing ones , such as oppression in North Korea, Syria atrocities, Russia /China stare controls and lack of real democracy and Venezuela .

Hardly a zealot for pointing out the fact some EU states aren't adverse to knocking old ladies about, and tipping the disabled out of their wheelchairs if they have the audacity to protest! It's a pity we don't hear more about that sort of thing from the Guardian, and other like-minded narrative engineers.
Away from the zealots for me the article is one sided , a broader view of other less democratic societies left or right is probaly the better balanced way , as I'm not convinced that the likes of Russia,China,Syria ,North Korea and Venezuela and others, are not mentioned and perhaps they should be brought into the article ,as they are equally oppressive, or even worse than those mentioned , they do not offer a true democracy ,freedom of speech,
acceptance of ones sexulaity , and are far away from being of a true caring socialist society.
