I'm coming up to my 30th birthday this year and have had a bit of a epiphany that I do not have a single hobby apart from going to the football. So as part of a "new year new me" I've been looking at new things to do.
I've looked at flying, shooting, pottery and motorbiking.
Does anyone do much other than work and football? Am I having a midlife?

I'd describe going to the football as a pastime or socialising rather than a hobby.
Many people would define a hobby as collecting things - beer mats, dog turds, etc - or something that's creative.
I suspect you feel you're spending too much of your free time gazing at a screen of some description and it's unhealthy both physically and mentally.
Whatever hobby or interest you choose to take up you'd have to find enjoyable and stimulating otherwise your interest will soon wane.
I used to do a bit of train spotting back in the day.
Back of the bob bank was great for this ( before seats ) as I could combine both.
Thought the headline was ”hobbits and football”, and was expecting some news on Warwick.. I fly fish and sir **** a lot. Does it for me 👌
Quite a few people like football and riding a bike.
Play football as well? (I do 3 times a week all year round), coach a football team (great fun) take up track days (can be expensive and only really summer), golf (occasionally), going to see bands and theatre (I live just outside London, so plenty to see).
This makes my life sound action packed, and it really isn’t!
Watching Cardiff City is still the equal best thing to do along with playing, coaching my son’s team and track days.
I have a couple of dogs that have replaced my kids now that they have flown the nest. Outside of that in an effort to get fit I now take part in indoor rowing competitions which I have become addicted too.I also enjoy seeing bands so go to a lot of pub and small hall concerts.
Winding up Bales Wales.
Golf, I love it so addicting !
hobby he wants, not a life changing obsession.
thank fk for that, thought i was the only one.
Started photography as a hobby and turned it into a business. Last few years I've really got into building my own electronics. Ive also taken up road cycling for fitness.
At my local leisure centre. They have three teams in a league that is linked to the organisation that runs the gym . We compete in Surrey and South London so may not be much use to you.
However quick Google search shows that at the channel View leisure centre on Jim Driscoll Way there is a club need in Cardiff.
