The played well against Middlesboro last Friday, but at the time I thought the size of their pitch may have been a factor in that.
Didn’t create much and we got done by a set piece
More backward passes than forward passes. I know we don't play "pretty" football but feck me, sideways, sideways, backwards, sideways, backwards, 20+ passes without crossing the half way line, the BBC called in "patient"! Where's the yawn emoji gone?
don't do it at all.
Wasn't surprised the keeper had cramp, he had as many touches as anyone.
I don't mind teams playing out but constantly pinging it back to the keeper, who plays to the centre half who passes back to the keeper is no better to watch than just lumping it upfront.
They were the much better footballing side and deserved a point until their hijinks ("game management") at the end.
Thought they were poor defensively and with better choices and the run of the ball we could have been well in front. That late goal was very important.
They must have only had two shots on target for all their possession.
Very slow defensively and offered nothing in the final third.
Luton may have passed the ball about a lot but that was because we let them and it wasn't hurting us. They offered little going forward in a real attacking sense.
We should have won comfortably but for some poor finishing and, in the end, got out of jail with that late goal.
