For me its Pink Floyd.
I had a ticket for Earls Court 1994 but couldn't make it so passed it on to a mate who wasn't having the best of times.
Biggest disappointment for me was Happy Mondays (Glastonbury 90) who at the time were my favourite band.
Who would you most like to see?
Bruce Springsteen & The E-Street Band.
Wembley Arena 1981.
Phenomenal in every way.
The Beatles
The Smiths 1983 , 1984 and 1986
REM 1989
Having seen Queen recently thinking I've never liked them but they were brilliant I'm guessing Coldplay as they seem similar

Would do anything to be one of the people who did see them.

I read this thread as the best band you've EVER seen - so I won't change my contribution now as not many will have had the privilege of seeing my nomination - The Beatles, who else?
Would have been '62 or '63, Capitol in Cardiff. Totally surreal, best seats in the house and couldn't hear thing; bedlam from start to finish. Roy Orbison topped the bill and the Stones were a supporting act. Obviously they weren't the best band at the time but their legacy has stood the test of time. Anyone of my age will say the same.
The Clash & The Jam. Missed the bus on both of them.
Would've loved to seen 1960s Stones too.
King Crimson ... by a mile.

Ooops. I misread read the title. I thought it was the best band you've EVER seen. I actually missed Gentle Giant at the Top Rank (?) in Bristol once. They were brilliant, too. I also would have loved to have seen Keith Tippett's 50 strong avant-garde jazz orchestra Centipede.

I had a ticket to see B.B. at the Ally Pally in 1980 but it was cancelled due the place burning down. Never managed to catch up with him subsequently.
Saw a great band last night "The Ultimate Classic Rock Show" an excellent gig very professional and superb guitarists, in fact the drummer and keyboard were very good as well, well worth going to see, if you get the chance, they are playing all over south and west wales at the moment!
I remember seeing Live Aid and their performance so id say Queen.
