We've ended up in some weird Alice In Wonderland political landscape and nobody knows just how far down the plughole we will all be flushed. 2016 will be seen by historians as a watershed between normal and apocalyptic.

If anybody ends up down the plughole it will be the EU, as President Trump has called time on the unfair Chinese and EU trade practices. China are now struggling to buy German products, which is sending them towards recession, and the EU still have to renegotiate a new US trade deal, which will squeeze them even further. When we leave the EU it will be with a clean slate, and we will be free to engage in the new global trade reset to our own advantage.

There is no guarantee what pug hole we do go down , or if one actually exists , at least we may now see an end result on the horizon .

As there are many countries outside of Europe buying and selling goods and services , and doing alright , perhaps we may survive the apocalyptic theory.

Calling all parties to vote this latest deal through , then move onto the real issues our domestic politics , which has been hijacked by Labour and the Tories for pure personal gain .

But there is a reason why countries trade most frequently with their neighbours.

I'd absolutely love for him to be impeached but keeping him shackled in a kennel with a bone shoved in his fat gob would do nicely thanks.

He will be your go to PM soon , unless you can convince Labour to change their leader and agenda .

Be careful what you wish for his appointment is a result of political direction elsewhere.

He'll be gone soon because he'll have to resign. There's no need to convince Labour to change their leader and agenda because they have the best leader around at the moment and easily the best agenda, though I wish JC would get off the Brexit fence real soon.

There's nothing to be careful to wish for because we've got the worst possible world at the moment and the sooner this shower of shit is replaced the better. I'd even prefer the Monster Raving Loony party than these confidence tricksters.

And me , dont think that many normal thinking Labour voters consider him best at anything , other than being the the puppet of momentum.

Its very sad, as a decent Labour leader and a better shadow cabinet like Hilary Benn , Yvette Cooper , Jess Phillips Andy Burnham ,Tom Watson would destroy Boris and be in power , if they were allowed too serve , and not be frozen out of the new Labour agenda and cull .

What anti Semitic thing? I see no evidence myself. Labour is a very inclusive party and Semites are welcome.

Seems pretty clear to me and a lot of other people. Anti semitism is implicit in socialism of course, but at the moment they don't seem to be bothering to hide it much.
It's a very evil philosophy really, as we know from the millions killed by it. I'm genuinely interested how you think it might be able to work if we tried again - can you do the same thing and rationally expect a different outcome ?

There's as many shades of socialism as capitalism and that has proven a disaster for millions upon millions whilst enriching and aggrandising a privileged few.

As for Anti Semitism being implicit in socialism you're now showing your naivety. Anti Semitism is a condition fabricated by Jews. They have no monopoly over Semitic culture. Arabs are Semites and so are Assyrians, Aramites and other races. These people are all God's children as far as socialism is concerned. Zionism on the other hand counters the principle of fairness and equinimity which socialism holds dear.

We have already seen that parade. Three days after being asked for evidence he posted a misguided YouTube video and provided little comment of his own.

Zionism is a broad church with worshippers of many persuasions.

Did you really just say that anti semitism is FABRICATED by Jews ?
I don't think you meant that - hope not anyway. You went on to mention that other peoples can be described as Semitic, but of course that's got nothing to do with anything, ( you probably got that argument from George Galloway).

Gassing millions of people can't be excused or avoided by claiming that the wrong term was used, can it ?

In this spirit, I'm not getting into the side issue of whether the National Socialists were actually socialists , but Stalin certainly was and he probably killed more people than Hitler. Trotsky wrote some edifying stuff about all this you know, but of course he also got himself into a mess in the first place by believing in socialism .

Some say that's it's an attractive idea but impractical in the real world, but I tend to think you'd have to be some kind of ****ing simpleton to think it could work. How many millions of people does a political theory have to murder, starve or imprison before we catch on to the fact that it's evil ?

Re: What leave voters voted for?

I happened to mention in another post at this forum fairly recently that around 99% of Semites alive today are non-Hebrew speakers. They total around 5 million and most reside in Israel. The largest group of Semites are Arabs who speak Arabic, accounting for circa 300 million. Those Semites can be bombed relentlessly (as in Libya, Iraq and Syria this century) without the aggressors ever being labelled with the anti-Semitic slur as that's reserved exclusively for a tiny minority group.
