No, I think the whole squad is capable of it. Also most are capable of passing simply if they so choose or are directed to.

As bad as we were for parts of yesterdays' game, i did notice that Flint was passing out of defence, as was Nelson. Peltier & Bennett were also also looking to pass it down the line to the wingers.
So, are our chief culprits Morrison & Etheridge?
No, I think the whole squad is capable of it. Also most are capable of passing simply if they so choose or are directed to.
No. I don’t believe he is.
No
He's our best defender imo.
Bloody good player and was our player of the season the season before last.
Our centre halves should be Morrison + 1 other (preferably Bamba if he gets back to his previous standards)
I would say he's the main culprit for hoofing the ball, but Peltier, Flint, Bennett and Etheridge are also guilty of this.
Yup, although they don't have many options to be fair, in fact, no options. Pack has had the problem with offloading the ball and holding onto it and putting himself in trouble because he's not there or programmed to knock the ball 40 yards. You can see him getting frustrated with the lads infront of him at times, jesturing towards them to spread out and create a little bit of space.
The main ‘culprits ‘ are the players running away with their backs turned and not offering themselves for short balls.
Or maybe the manager who asks them to play that way ?
I’d actually say Morrison plays less long balls than Flint, Bennett and probably Peltier asnormally he’d give it to one of those 3, or the keeper.
I wouldn’t get too excited by yesterday defensively.
We probably allowed Birmingham more shots on goal than anyone else this season (25).
They also scored twice.
Lot more tightening up to do
I would think that he's playing as the manager has told him to play

Other interesting stats to come out of whoscored.com:
Etheridge's distribution is better than Smithies.
Hoilett, Bennett, Whyte, Pack and Bacuna are our best passers of the ball.
Pack hits more long balls on average per game than all of our players bar the 2 centre backs, Peltier and the goalkeeper.
Paterson, Morrison, Ward, Flint and Glatzel have the worst passing stats of all outfield players.
Where was Morrison yesterday? Is he injured?
Neil on the radio said after the game he could have played him yesterday but he has a fracture in both hands now and if he falls heavily on either one he risks a 4 week break he could have played with a support on both wrists. The doctors recommended a 10 day rest before he played again. He also said that with an international break coming up that he would be rested until after that to allow it to heal naturally.
Its going to be Flint and Nelson vs The Wurzels
Morrison's out with broken bones in both arms.
So now is a really good time to question his contribution to games.
Fickle fans
I don’t see it with Nelson. He was very shaky, nearly gifted them a goal in the second half when he pushed Pack out of the way, and ended up making Pack flick it on and Nelson looks so uncomfortable on the ball. Some of his passes were very dodgy while his clearances were more aimless than anyone else’s. He is probably a better partner because he’s not similar to Morrison or Flint but let’s also add we were a complete embarrassment in the first half hour on Saturday.
