The Tories seem to be very happy to have Rees-Mogg as one of their main front people in this election - maybe because his face shouts 'hard Brexit' which they want to be the single issue - and because he has had a bit of a free ride as an exotic 'character'.

But the teflon is flaking off.

He managed to piss off Nigel Farage a few days ago - who accused him of 'conceited arrogance' - contributing to the Brexit Party decision to stand against the Tories in over 600 constituencies.

Although as this particular story is in the Guardian (other news reports available on request) and as Christopher Steele is referenced as one of the contributing sources for the report (most sources seem to be current UK intelligence officers), Gluey will be denouncing it as another incident of globalist conspiracy against populist champions of the people!
For what it is worth I think it was the right call. The government has a duty of care to its citizens. It is obviously conscious of the damage the report could cause to fragile super-egos who thought their twitter feed gave them gifted insight when they are actually being manipulated by a troll farm in Chelyabinsk.

It's at times like this we can be grateful for the likes of this Pratt to bolster our election chances when he reveals the true face of the right wing. And to think they make such a song and dance about Diane Abbott when they've got their very own electoral liability personified.

Jess Phillips for a leader, she would smash through Boris and his lot .
You are obviously not a good judge of character. I can spot a wrong 'un and she certainly fits that bill. Anyone who knows anything about women can tell she is trouble. Read this and see how she used a mentally ill person to attack a rival election candidate.

If you ever get caught in a fire, don't bother with the fire brigade, just call JRM.

The misplaced arrogance is astonishing, I'm disappointed in myself for being surprised.

It's interesting to watch the gang-up club spitting bile against people they see as a threat to the Monster Raving New Labour Party in the election.

Isn't Boris a Russian name , god there everywhere, at least Labour has very little allegiances, they were strong on the condemnation of the whole Salisbury incident.

Rees-Mogg effectively calling Grenfell victims stupid, Alun Cairns on the ropes, Cleverly's no show on Sky, the doctored video of Starmer and Johnson's ridiculous propaganda piece in the Telegraph

Are we sure they're trying to win this?

It says a lot that you'd rather have a go at the people criticising Rees-Mogg rather than criticise someone who called effectively the victims of a disaster stupid

Im struggling to remember a kicking like it over such a short period of time, Rees - Mogg on Grenfell, not releasing the Russian report, doctoring of the Starmer video, rape survivor calling on Tory Welsh sec to resign, Cleverly's no show on tv, Johnson comparing Corbyn to Stalin.
