Crimbo dinner, IMO isn't crimbo dinner without sprouts, Garden peas are a popular veg but they don't do it for me.

Depends how they're cooked. Boiled to a pulp, no thanks.
I like them stir-fried with onion, carrots and pancetta with balsamic vinegar. It's a pain in the arse to prepare though.

its a leafy compact veg.It's good for you. Cook it properly and it's delicious.
Don't cook for 45 mins like your nan did.

That is my childhood nightmare, overboiled sprouts stinking the whole house.

Yes, yes and yes. I actually like them shredded raw in a salad. Nicer than boiled until they are sludge. Sorry Sludge.
