Anyone remember our first game back in the championship up at their place , we got beat five three?
The police were shocking that day
We were in a group of about 6 supporters club buses
They kept us waiting at this point about a mile from the ground it came to ten to three and a few people on the first bus thought feck this we are going to miss the kick off so soon everyone had piled off the coaches and we were walking trouble free towards the ground , all of a sudden the police turn up in huge numbers with dogs horses and riot Van's and gave us a horrible heavy handed escort to the away end where the hassle continued
After the game there was one officer throwing his weight around so much his mates grabbed hold of him , he was ginger if I remember
Following this south Yorkshire police labelled the day the worst violence seen in the city for decades forgetting the fact they left a group of men women and children isolated away from the ground approaching kick off and when we walked peacefully to the ground they turned up and attacked us
Thugs. Hope that 'policeman' has the book thrown at him.
Barnsley is a tough town and they have some right nutters following them , the derbies with leeds and the sheffield clubs are rough but that kid took a pasting off a fully tooled up officer
We dont know what he did but to smack a young boy over the head like that hes going to have to answer some questions
But he will get away with it
Some police officers love CCTV and modern technology but are not so keen when they get caught in the act
Worse than the SWP?
The charge sheet against South Yorkshire Police is a long one - although they are often credited with the police riot at Orgreave during the Miners Strike, and that was mainly a crime committed other police forces brought in by Thatcher (wearing uniforms with no collar numbers or force identification insignia).

Anyone remember the night game away at huddersfield with Lennie Lawrence?
They basically led city fans into a trap and battered them
They were no better after the game either
Is there any reason to go for the head? Not that I agree with any of it, but if they're taught to go to the head it seems a lot more dangerous than one bad police officer.
You usually see coppers swinging low at knee or thigh height, dead legs and all that
Maybe this kid had a glass , bottle or knife , who knows but surely it's going to be looked at
