Bernie Sanders is a millionaire because he's paid a good wage by the US government and has represented them for two decades. Also, the difference between a million dollars and billion dollars is ridiculous.

Bernie Sanders does have three homes. A primary residence in Vermont (where's he's been mayor of Burlington, a congressman and a state senator respectively, since 1991 - which is when he bought the property), one in D.C. (where representatives are expected to have a residence) and, last but not least, a $575,000 summer home in Vermont. Might get a pretty nice house in the north of Cardiff for what that would be worth in pounds sterling.

My mum owns more properties than Bernie Sanders and she isn't exactly dripping in wealth
