Was there a Welsh government briefing today? I cannot find any report or reference to one.
Just came back to this thread to see what's new. Nothing it seems. Maybe it ought to be renamed the CCFC3P0/xsnaggle bitching update. Give it a rest for heaven's sake.
A few days old now, but this article is worth a read;-

I have noticed, on the ZOE application and website, that areas in and around South Wales are turning a deeper pink, suggesting an infection rate rising above 1%. This is based on people completing a survey
https://covid.joinzoe.com/data
That URL doesn't force you to join btw, nor ask for details.
Johnson, "the R has not risen above one " - interesting choice of words, would I be right to add but it has gone up to that I wonder?
Johnnson 'waffle waffle waffle the most important thing is to wash your hands'
Retail to open in England on June 15....the bridge is going to be busy going east for some essentials, no doubt it will be a few more months before wales wakes up, if it ever does
What ever stupid things the swedes may or may not have done in this pandemic you just have to love their panache.
This from their pandemic advice: "Sex is no obstacle if you and your partner, or partners, show no symptoms of illness".
Scathing article in yesterday's Daily Telegraph about how Drakeford and co let down the people of RCT. They say that early on he identified the Rhondda as a risk area because of high elderly population, high industrial disease, and deprivation, but then did nothing about it. Falling on testing, track and trace etc
Overall South Wales has some of the worse death rates and total cases in the UK, about double per capita than England
I've no reason to doubt the DT claim, or the if there are failings that have contributed towards the suffering of the people in RCT, and if it is so, i'll be bringing it up at my next Labour Party regional meeting, that's what i do, call people out, even if it hurts politically, it's the only way progress is made and things improve as it isn't and shouldn't be about my political biases.
Now over to you, A Tory who lives in one of Wales' most affluent areas, who defends Boris and Cummins, giving a shit about the people of RCT. 40 years to late Comrade. People have been suffering in those areas, young and old, since the Tories waged a war on a once proud community. A Tory showing concern for some of the most deprived people in the UK. You've got some cheek.
So have you as you know f all about me. Born Cardiff, raised on a council estate, made some money playing music in teens. Dad a fitter who had TB for years and we lived on the breadline. Only Christmas present I had one year was from the local Conservative Club. Pulled myself together after an ordinary education and made something of my life.
My wife's from Ton Pentre, dyed in the wool valley's girl and very proud of her history. I worked for many years as a rep in the Valley's areas, made many friends and have fond memories.
As for politics, Starmer would get my vote if there was an election tomorrow, but Drakeford wouldn't.
And I hope you do raise the Rhondda issue at your next Labour meeting because its cost lives
